The fee is charged separately from the conference registration fee, unless otherwise stated on the event page. The $100 USD service fee is non-refundable once the request has been submitted. This applies even if the attendee changes travel plans, decides not to attend, provides incorrect information, or receives an unfavorable visa or entry decision. Since the service involves document review, verification, and administrative preparation, the fee is used to process the request and cannot be returned after submission.
