Upon successful registration for the 41st International Conference on African Business and Technology in Toronto, Canada, participants who require documentation for international travel purposes may formally request an official invitation letter from the conference secretariat. To initiate your invitation letter request, participants must have completed the full registration process and received confirmation of payment. The secretariat typically processes these requests within three to five business days, and all correspondence will be directed to the email address provided during registration. Attendees are strongly encouraged to submit their requests well in advance of any visa application deadlines to allow sufficient processing time.

The 41st edition invites original, unpublished research contributions that interrogate the evolving dynamics of business, innovation, and technology on the African continent and in its global diaspora networks. Submissions are welcomed from diverse disciplinary angles, from computational sciences and entrepreneurship to public policy and behavioral economics, provided they advance meaningful insights relevant to Africa’s development trajectory.
Accepted work may be considered for the conference proceedings where applicable and is presented during the event in Toronto, Canada.

Paper and Abstract Submission

All submissions are reviewed before acceptance. Submitted work should be original and not previously published.
For the 41st edition, papers can cover any of the conference tracks, for example Agritech solutions for smallholder farmers, Technology policy and digital governance frameworks or Women-led enterprises and gender equity in tech.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
Peer Review Details
All manuscript submissions to the 41st International Conference on African Business and Technology undergo a structured double-blind peer review process, wherein each paper is independently evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers drawn from the relevant subject domains. Reviewers assess contributions on the basis of scholarly rigor, originality, relevance to the conference’s thematic focus, and the quality of the evidence or methodology presented.
