- Early Bird Author Registration – US$499 For authors keen on availing a $100 discount on the regular registration fee, early bird registration is recommended.
- Regular Author Registration – US$599 If the early bird deadline has been missed, authors can opt for the regular registration process.
- Listener Registration – US$499 Individuals interested in attending the conference to expand their knowledge and network can register as listeners.

Invitation Letter Support
Upon successful registration for the 32nd International Conference on African Culture and Sociology, attendees may formally request an official invitation letter from the conference secretariat. This letter confirms your participation and provides relevant details about the event dates, venue in Pickering, Canada, and your role as a registered delegate or presenter.
The invitation letter is issued solely for the purpose of supporting your travel preparations, including potential visa applications, institutional leave requests, and funding applications. Requests are typically processed within three to five business days of verified registration, and all details included in the letter reflect the information provided at the time of registration.
Please be advised that the issuance of an official conference invitation letter does not in any way guarantee the granting of a visa or entry permit to Canada. Visa decisions rest entirely with the relevant immigration and consular authorities, and applicants are encouraged to initiate their visa applications well in advance of the conference dates.

- Registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person. If your visa is refused, you get 50% off one new registration for a later edition in your name.
- Your invitation letter is emailed within 3 to 5 business days after your payment is verified.

Paper and Abstract Submission
Authors are invited to submit abstracts, research papers, case studies, review papers or professional practice presentations.
All submissions are reviewed before acceptance. Submitted work should be original and not previously published.
For the 32nd edition, papers can cover any of the conference tracks, for example Decolonizing African sociological frameworks, Urbanization and social change in African cities or Postcolonial memory and historical reckoning.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.

All submitted abstracts and full papers undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by reviewers with expertise spanning African studies, sociology, cultural anthropology, and related disciplines. Authors receive constructive feedback from reviewers to strengthen the scholarly quality of their contributions prior to final acceptance.
