Invitation Letter Support
Registered participants of the 25th International Conference on African Economics and Development may request an official invitation letter to support their travel documentation and visa application process. These letters are issued by the conference secretariat upon confirmation of full registration and are personalized with the attendee’s details, the conference dates, and the Toronto venue information.
To obtain an invitation letter, delegates must complete the registration process and submit a formal request through the conference portal, including their full name as it appears on their passport, institutional affiliation, and country of residence. The secretariat endeavors to process and dispatch invitation letters promptly to allow adequate time for visa applications and travel planning.
Please note that while the conference secretariat is pleased to provide official invitation letters as a courtesy to registered attendees, the issuance of such a letter does not guarantee the granting of a visa or entry permit by Canadian immigration authorities. Visa decisions rest solely with the relevant government bodies, and all applicants are encouraged to apply well in advance and comply fully with all immigration requirements.

The 25th edition invites scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to submit original research that interrogates the economic realities and development prospects of African nations and regions. Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.

- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
