Authors working at the frontier of African economic and development research are warmly invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts to the 21st ICAED. Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
Peer Review Details
Every manuscript submitted to the 21st ICAED undergoes a double-blind peer-review process in which at least two independent experts assess the work for scholarly rigor, originality, and relevance to African economics and development. Authors receive structured feedback regardless of the final decision, ensuring that the review process contributes constructively to the advancement of their research.

The Best Paper Award will be announced at the conference closing session. The winner will be rewarded with:
