Invitation Letter Support
Upon completing registration for the 19th International Conference on African Economics and Development, participants who require documentation to support a Canadian visa application may formally request an official invitation letter from the conference secretariat. This letter confirms your accepted role—whether as a presenter, panelist, or registered delegate—and provides the dates, venue, and organizational details of the event in Mississauga.
Invitation letters are issued exclusively to individuals who have finalized their conference registration and, where applicable, received confirmation of paper acceptance. To request your letter, please submit your full name as it appears on your passport, your institutional affiliation, and your registration reference number to the secretariat via the designated request portal on the conference website.
It is important to note that the issuance of an official invitation letter by the conference organizing committee does not guarantee the approval of a Canadian visa or any other travel authorization. Visa decisions rest entirely with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the relevant consular authorities, and attendees are strongly advised to initiate their visa applications well in advance of the conference dates.

Call for Papers – 19th International Conference on African Economics and Development
The 19th International Conference on African Economics and Development invites original empirical, theoretical, and policy-oriented research manuscripts that push the frontiers of knowledge on Africa’s economic landscape. Authors are encouraged to submit rigorous contributions that engage directly with contemporary development challenges facing the continent.
Accepted work will be published in the official conference proceedings and presented during the event in Mississauga, Canada.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
Peer Review Details
All research manuscripts submitted to the 19th International Conference on African Economics and Development are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process, with each submission evaluated by at least two independent experts from the international scientific committee. Authors are assessed on originality, methodological soundness, empirical or theoretical contribution, and relevance to African economic and development discourse, with detailed reviewer feedback provided regardless of the final decision.
