- Early Bird Author Registration – US$499 For authors keen on availing a $100 discount on the regular registration fee, early bird registration is recommended.
- Regular Author Registration – US$599 If the early bird deadline has been missed, authors can opt for the regular registration process.
- Listener Registration – US$499 Individuals interested in attending the conference to expand their knowledge and network can register as listeners.

Invitation Letter Support
To support international delegates in making the necessary travel arrangements, the conference secretariat issues official invitation letters to registered participants upon successful completion of the registration and payment process. These letters are formal documents that confirm your acceptance to present or attend the 17th International Conference on African Business and Technology in Toronto, Canada, and are intended to assist with institutional leave approvals, funding applications, and logistical planning.
Invitation letters are issued exclusively to individuals who have completed a valid registration and, where applicable, had their submitted work accepted through the review process. Requests are processed within a defined turnaround period following registration confirmation, and delegates are advised to initiate their travel planning well in advance of the conference dates to accommodate institutional and consular timelines.
Please be advised that the issuance of an official invitation letter by the conference secretariat does not constitute a guarantee of visa approval, nor does it represent any form of sponsorship or financial commitment on behalf of the organizers. Visa applications remain entirely subject to the sovereign discretion of Canadian immigration authorities, and all delegates are solely responsible for meeting the entry requirements applicable to their nationality.

Call for Papers – 17th International Conference on African Business and Technology
Scholars, practitioners, and independent researchers are warmly invited to submit original contributions that advance the frontiers of African business and technology discourse for the 2026 Toronto edition. We welcome empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, case analyses, and interdisciplinary works that speak boldly to the conference’s thematic priorities.
Accepted work may be considered for the conference proceedings where applicable and is presented during the event in Toronto, Canada.

Paper and Abstract Submission
Authors are invited to submit abstracts, research papers, case studies, review papers or professional practice presentations.
All submissions are reviewed before acceptance. Submitted work should be original and not previously published.
For the 17th edition, papers can cover any of the conference tracks, for example Fintech, Insurtech, and Financial Technology Growth, African SMEs and Digital Capability Building or Cross-Border Collaboration and Diaspora Business Networks.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.

- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.

The Best Paper Award will be announced at the conference closing session. The winner will be rewarded with:
