The secretariat endeavors to dispatch letters within five business days of receiving a complete request, and delegates are encouraged to apply well in advance of any visa application deadlines imposed by Canadian immigration authorities or their home institutions.
It is important to understand that the issuance of an official invitation letter by the conference organizing committee does not guarantee, influence, or replace any decision made by visa-issuing authorities. Visa approval rests solely with the relevant embassy, consulate, or immigration body, and delegates are responsible for submitting their applications in accordance with applicable requirements and timelines.
