The guides on internationalconference.ca are written and checked by the editorial team of MS International Conferences Inc., a company federally incorporated in Canada that organizes international conferences in the Greater Toronto Area. Our articles help researchers, speakers and attendees with visas, invitation letters, papers, presentations and conference travel. This page explains who writes them and how we check them.
Our writers
- James Walker: conference visas, invitation letters and international travel.
- Natasiya Evansi: research papers, abstracts, peer review and proceedings.
- Henry Martinez: conference speakers, presentations, speeches and session chairing.
- Chloe Moreau: attending a conference, planning, networking and general conference guides.
How we fact-check
- Official sources first. Visa rules, fees and processing times are checked against government pages such as IRCC (canada.ca), the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov), embassy and visa application centre pages, and GOV.UK. Paper and citation guides are checked against the publisher, style guide or submission system they describe.
- A visible check date. Each visa and invitation letter article shows the month it was last verified against official sources. When a rule, fee or process changes, we update the article and the date.
- No invented numbers. If an official source does not publish a figure, such as a guaranteed processing time, we say so instead of guessing.
- MS International facts come from our own policy pages. For example, invitation letters for registered participants are issued within 3 to 5 business days after payment clears, and a letter supports a visa application but does not guarantee a visa.
- Clear limits. Our guides are general information, not legal or immigration advice. Visa decisions are made only by the government. For advice on your own case, speak to a licensed immigration professional, such as a regulated Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer.
