- Early Bird Author Registration – US$499 For authors keen on availing a $100 discount on the regular registration fee, early bird registration is recommended.
- Regular Author Registration – US$599 If the early bird deadline has been missed, authors can opt for the regular registration process.
- Listener Registration – US$499 Individuals interested in attending the conference to expand their knowledge and network can register as listeners.

Invitation Letter Support
Upon successful registration, the 48th International Conference on African Business and Technology is pleased to provide official invitation letters to confirmed attendees who require documentation for travel planning purposes. These letters are issued on conference letterhead and include your registration details, the event dates, and the Vaughan venue information, serving as formal evidence of your acceptance and participation.
Invitation letters are processed within three to five business days of payment confirmation and are issued electronically as a signed PDF suitable for submission to consular offices. Attendees with early visa application deadlines are encouraged to contact the organizing secretariat after completing registration.
Please note that the issuance of an official invitation letter by the conference organizing committee does not constitute a guarantee of visa approval, nor does it represent any commitment on behalf of immigration or consular authorities. Visa decisions rest entirely with the relevant government agencies, and applicants are responsible for submitting complete and accurate documentation in accordance with Canadian immigration requirements.
Before You Register
- Registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person. If your visa is refused, you get 50% off one new registration for a later edition in your name.
- Your invitation letter is emailed within 3 to 5 business days after your payment is verified.
- You arrange your own visa, travel and accommodation.

Paper and Abstract Submission
Authors are invited to submit abstracts, research papers, case studies, review papers or professional practice presentations.
All submissions are reviewed before acceptance. Submitted work should be original and not previously published.
For the 48th edition, papers can cover any of the conference tracks, for example African fintech and mobile banking innovation, Agritech and food security solutions or African diaspora investment and remittances.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
Peer Review Details
Every full paper submitted to the 48th International Conference on African Business and Technology undergoes a double-blind peer review conducted by reviewers in the field. Review criteria encompass originality, methodological soundness, relevance to African business and technology themes, and the quality of conclusions drawn.

Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award will be announced at the conference closing session. The winner will be rewarded with:
- The recipient of the Best Paper Award will receive a certificate of excellence co-signed by the conference chairs, along with complimentary registration to the following edition of the International Conference on African Business and Technology
