These letters are prepared on conference letterhead and detail the event dates, venue location in Pickering, and the participant’s role, whether as a presenter, co-author, or delegate, providing the documentation typically required by institutional travel offices and funding bodies.
Requests for invitation letters should be submitted through the official conference portal after completing registration, and participants are encouraged to apply well in advance of any visa application deadlines relevant to their country of residence. The secretariat endeavors to dispatch letters promptly, typically within five business days of a completed request, and can tailor the letter’s content to include specific details requested by embassies or university grants offices.

Call for Papers – 28th International Conference on African Culture and Sociology
The organizing committee warmly invites original research submissions that push the boundaries of knowledge in African culture and sociology, encouraging both empirical and theoretical contributions. Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
Peer Review Details
Every manuscript submitted to the 28th International Conference on African Culture and Sociology is subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review, with each paper assessed by a minimum of two independent reviewers drawn from an international panel of African studies scholars. Reviewers evaluate submissions on the basis of scholarly originality, theoretical engagement, methodological soundness, and the relevance of findings to advancing knowledge in African cultural and sociological research.
