Invitation Letter Support
Delegates who require documentation to support their travel visa application may request an official invitation letter from the conference organizing committee. This letter confirms your registration status, the dates of the event, and the conference’s institutional legitimacy, providing immigration authorities with the context needed to assess your travel purpose.
To request an invitation letter, participants must first complete their conference registration and provide a copy of their valid identification. The secretariat typically processes these requests within five to seven business days, and letters are issued on official conference letterhead bearing the signatures of the organizing committee.
It is important to understand that the invitation letter issued by the conference serves solely as supporting documentation for your visa application and does not guarantee visa approval. The decision to grant entry into Canada rests entirely with the relevant immigration and border authorities, and the conference organizers have no influence over that process.

Call for Papers – 27th International Conference on African Culture and Sociology
The 27th edition invites original, rigorously researched submissions that push the boundaries of how we study, interpret, and represent African cultures and societies. Scholars are encouraged to submit work that challenges dominant narratives, introduces innovative methodologies, or surfaces underrepresented voices from across the continent and its global diaspora.
Accepted work will be published in the official conference proceedings and presented during the event in Ajax, Canada.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be written in English.
- Submissions must be original and relevant to the conference theme.
- Abstracts should clearly describe the purpose, method, findings and relevance of the work.
- Full papers should normally be between 4 and 12 pages.
- Authors must complete registration after acceptance to confirm participation.
